10 albums you'd take to a desert island

I was driving to work today and the station formerly known as KRock had a thing were listeners could send in their top 5 picks of albums they'd take on a desert island. Then the station would play music blocks based on those picks. So I started thinking which 5 I'd take, and well, I always over pack so I thought of 10.

1. The Beatles - Abby Road
2. The Beatles - Revolver
3. U2's Joshua Tree
4. U2's All that you can't leave behind
5. Indigo Girl's Rites of Passage
6. Rolling Stone's 40 Licks
7. Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run
8. Pearl Jam's Vs
9. Frank Sinatra's Songs for Swinging Lovers
10. Madonna's Immaculate Collection

What would you take????

Tania - I was so torn between Little Earthquakes and Boys for Pele... so I had to go with the "hits" because I would be missing Cornflake Girl and Baker Baker either way. ;)

Tania and Robin,
You are taking U2, but how could you leave out Unforgettable Fire????

Ok, here's mine... virtually impossible for a music fanatic like myself to decide of course...

1) Gomez - In Our Gun (I cannot BELIEVE Amy likes them too!)
2) U2 - Unforgettable Fire
3) Crowded House - Recurring Dream (Best of)
4) Neil Finn - Try Whistling This
(or I could take my very own 2-disc compilation of Crowded House/Neil Finn/Split Enz/Finn Brothers music and count those instead of the official releases I just listed as #'s 3 & 4)
5) Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend
6) Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table & Dreaming
7) The Tragically Hip - Hip Eponymous/Yer Favorites (ok, cheating, it's a box set, but must be done -- they're one of my favoritest bands ever and good friends of mine to boot!)
8) Duran Duran - Rio
9) Grant Lee Buffalo - Mighty Joe Moon
10) Marillion - Misplaced Childhood

And if I could sneak some more in there somehow, I'd also have to take:

U2 - Joshua Tree
Secret Machines - Now Here is Nowhere
The Connells - Boylan Heights
REM - Life's Rich Pageant
The Posies - Dear 23
The Housemartins - London 0 Hull 4
The BoDeans - Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams
Midnight Oil - Scream In Blue Live (gotta have live Oil)
and the soundtracks from The Sound of Music and Singin' In The Rain

and I'd have to have one Waterboys song: The Whole Of The Moon
