10 Children's Books

Randi and I are so addicted to the Series of Unfortunate Events. I'm on book 12 now. I think these books are so funny and clever and dark, that they just can't be for kids. I've been reading a lot of so-called kids books lately. Here are some of my faves from now, and as a kid, in no particular order.

1. Harry Potter
2. The Chronicles of Narnia
3. Alice in Wonderland
4. The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
5. Are You There God It's Me Margaret
6. Series of Unfortunate Events
7. The Story About Ping
8. Where the Wild Things Are
9. There's a Monster at The End of this Book
10. Marvin K Mooney Will You Please Go Home

* This list could be be 500 instead of 10!

Oh, and how could I forget... the book that was my mom's before it was mine and still is at my parents' house "for the grandkids" -- A Ding Dong School book called "I Decided." Well, my DH knows how much I love this book. He found a copy on eBay and bought it for me this past Christmas. Isn't that the best??? I have it displayed on the coffee table in my living room!!!!!!!!
